Ing. Vittorio Montauti
The founder of the office, Vittorio Montauti, obtained his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Padua, Italy, with a focus on Automation and Robotics.
He has two decades of experience in various areas, starting at Parpas AG in Italy with the development and realisation of mid-sized CNC milling stations. This was followed by a year of working as consultant for the development of modular metal sheet elements for food processing.
The largest part of his career to date was spent working in the paper industry with Eurotecnica Postpress, Italy, and then Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG, Leipzig, Germany on the development of book binding machines. After this he worked as a consultant to Müller Martini AG, Switzerland, on book binding machines for the digital market.
More recently, he completed several projects in the field of medical technology and sports, as well as overseeing an ongoing reverse engineering project to maintain vinyl record production machines that are no longer on the market.
Privately, Mr. Montauti pursues quality control in the sampling of Italian delicacies and enjoys experimenting with the physical interactions between skis and snow.
